Welcome to New Milton Hockey Club (NMHC) and the 2008/2009 Hampshire hockey season!!
Residing at Priestlands School Sand Based Astroturf Pitch in Pennington, Hampshire, NMHC is a lively and social club which is pretty good at hockey as well.
This season see's the Ladies 1's pushing for promotion out of the Hants leagues, the 2's continuing to cut through the divisions like a knife thru butter, and the 3's to progress from what was a very good season for them.
Also the 1st XI Men’s and the extremely strong 2nd XI step up to the plate, with the 1st XI looking to do well after being crowned as Champions from Division 2 with a successful 2007/8 season, and the 2's looking to do the same as the female counterparts. Division 5 beckons.
With the swelling of ranks throughout the club, this has meant a tremendous upsurge in membership and support at all levels. This meaning that there are occasional Men’s 3’s matches, with the U16’s making up the majority of the side as well as newcomers to the sport, and players not available for 2nd XI hockey.
A major area of our clubs growth and development is the flourishing youth section. We have a number of Youth teams which facilitate varying ages and abilities who, like the rest of the club, are professionally coached and catered for.
With the clubs progress and expansion comes the all to obvious need for funding and sponsorship. We are constantly faced with the need for new equipment, team strips and more pitch bookings for training and matches. Because of this, we are delighted have continued support to the club sponsor David Shore Accountants.

Congratulations on another successful
season throughout the club. To celebrate our successes we cordially invite all playing senior and junior members, and their families, to our annual presentation evening. This will be held on Friday 15th may at 7.00 pm for a prompt start at 7.30 pm at the New Milton Rugby Club.
The evening will consist of a brief presentation from the committee and election of officers for 2009-2010. This will be followed at 8pm by an *American supper* and then a celebration of our teams successes.A presentation of awards will be made to honour the achievements of individual players.
We look forward to seeing you on 15th may and *ask that you bring a contribution of savoury or sweet food towards the american supper.
If you were awarded a trophy last year PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU GET IT ENGRAVED and BRING IT TO THE EVENING or get it to a committee member.
ANYONE WHO WISHES TO STAND FOR ANY POSITION OF RESPONSIBILITY IN THE CLUB SHOULD E MAIL ME BEFORE APRIL 20th.OF THEIR INTENTIONS>
